Welcome to Lead Off Events, the home of youth baseball tournaments and travel baseball leagues that bring the excitement of the game to players of all levels. We’re dedicated to giving kids a fun, competitive baseball experience that matches their skill level.

Our travel baseball tournaments are built for families and teams who love great baseball without the extra costs--no parking or gate fees ever. Players enjoy top-quality fields, smooth operations, and custom medals and awards that make every win memorable.
Each game features an MVP selection, and those standout players are invited to our exclusive MVP Camp, where they’ll train with college players, former pros, and MLB scouts. It’s the ultimate opportunity for kids to learn, grow, and play the game they love in a big-league atmosphere.

If you’re looking for competitive youth baseball tournaments, Lead Off Events is where unforgettable memories are made and big-league dreams start taking shape.

MVP Camp

After each game, coaches from each team will pick an MVP player from the opposing team. The MVP will be invited to an end-of-season MVP Camp that is coached by former and current professional and college players and scouts.

Austin
Curtis

Austin is a trainer and coach at Cage 52. He's spent the past 10-years coaching baseball across high school, travel ball, leagues, and competitive tournaments. That range has shaped how he approaches player development, team culture, and game day preparation. Austin believes great tournaments and well-run leagues are where growth shows up fast. Players learn how to compete, handle pressure, respect the game, and play for something bigger than themselves.

He is passionate about teaching baseball the right way. Strong fundamentals. Clear accountability. A competitive edge that pushes players to improve while still loving the game. Whether it is league play or a weekend tournament, his focus is always on creating an environment where athletes are challenged, prepared, and proud of how they play.

Baseball has always been a big part of Austin's life, and he is thankful to keep building players, teams, and the baseball community through leagues and tournaments that actually matter.

Matt
Arnett

Matt has spent 20+ years living youth sports from every angle - Coach, League and Tournament Director, Administrator, Official, and parent.

Matt has seen the good, the bad, and the “how did this even happen?” moments of youth sports. That’s exactly why he helped start Lead Off Events.

His goal is simple: Create events that kids actually talk about on the drive home.

Winning is cool. Development matters. But memories stick.

If your players leave smiling, parents feel respected, and coaches know someone actually cared…we did our job.
